The Breakthrough

At SigmaSense, we are leading the transition to more productive, efficient, and meaningful interactions between humans and perceptive machines. Our technology uses an innovative sigma-delta drive architecture to provide concurrent digital signal processing on all channels for superior sensing at very low voltages, even in noisy environments.

Our first Capacitive Imaging touch controller changes our relationship with screens. It is already being used to drive a number of ITO based touch screens. And the disruption is just getting started. We are the first company to produce digital and fully scalable sensing technologies to solve the noise immunity and tuning challenges of traditional PCAP sensors.

 

 

About our Capacitive Imaging touch controller

Using 0.1 volts to 1.5 volts of self-capacitance drive, for touch screens up to 86 inches, our Capacitive Imaging touch controller has the best in class power consumption, water rejection, noise immunity, glove performance, and pressure sensing for wrist to wall screen sizes.

The Capacitive Imaging breakthroughs include:

  • the end of traditional threshold based PCAP sensing
  • the end of high voltage systems to drive through noise or for long line sensing
  • the end of harmonics that can cause EMI
  • the end of long tuning cycles

On January 8, 9, and 10, more than 4,500 exhibiting companies and more than 180,000 attendees from 150 countries will descend on Las Vegas for the CES trade convention, the world’s gathering place for business and consumer technologies.

SigmaSense will be introducing the next stage of evolution in touch screen technology at our meeting suite near the event with a demo that has been described repeatedly as “Amazing” and “Impressive.” We will have demo sessions in which we introduce a select few partners/customers to Capacitive Imaging and show how this amazing technology is changing the way our industry senses for displays, IoT, medical, and automotive applications.
