Analog Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced mixed-signal analog designer to work on the next-generation touch controller and battery monitoring chips.  Must have a strong background in analog CMOS design, high-voltage design, and power management and familiarity with the Cadence Virtuoso environment.

 

Responsibilities

  1. Design of Analog Front Ends, Filters, ADC’s, DAC’s & Voltage Regulators
  2. Noise analysis and mitigation techniques including, flicker, thermal and transient
  3. Familiar with low-power design methodologies
  4. Familiar with modulation & demodulation technique

Qualifications

Requirements

  • +7 yrs in analog mixed-signal design
  • Familiar with TSMC and GF processes, 40nm, 55nm, 180nm, and BCD processes
  • Familiar with high voltage design (+20V and above)
  • Familiar with Cadence ASIC design tools, Verilog A modeling
  • Knowledge of power management design, LDOs, bandgap design with curvature correction, analog filters, feedback control theory and poles/zeros compensation, bode plots.
  • Strong documentation, writing, and communication skills.
  • Minimum MSEE

Nice to have:

  • Familiar with Cadence layout tools, analog layout, devices matching, etc.
  • Knowledge of switched capacitor circuits, and data converters.
  • Experience with automotive requirements.
  • Experience with test instruments and lab testing.
