SigmaSense to Present Paper on Capacitive Imaging Technique at SID Display Week Thursday May 24
If you are in Los Angeles on May 24th for the Society for Information Display (SID) Display Week then you’ll get a chance to hear from SigmaSense in person. Dr. Gerald D. Morrison and Troy Gray have been invited to share their expertise on Advanced Capacitive Touch Techniques as conference speakers..
Display Week is an industry gathering of electronic display industry professionals, held by SID. Society for Information Display is comprised of the top scient
ists, engineers, corporate researchers, and business people of the display industry. Since 1962 SID has published a monthly Journal of SID, Information Display magazine, and their annual Digest of Technical Papers. They host the annual Display Week Symposium and Exhibition each spring.
Dr. Gerald Morrison to present Capacitive Imaging Technique Paper May 24th at 3:10pm
Dr. Morrison will be presenting their paper titled A Programmable Capacitive Imaging Technique Using Multiple Sigma-Delta Modulators for High SNR Touch Sensor and Pen, which goes into detail on a capacitive sensing technique based on sigma-delta modulation. The event will be Session 69: Capacitive-Touch Displays on Thursday, May 24 from 03:10 PM – 04:30 PM in room 501. This architecture creates multi-frequency drive and sense signals with high SNR, and enables concurrent and simultaneous self-capacitive touch, mutual-capacitive touch and capacitive pen.
This event is a great opportunity to hear some of SigmaSense’s top contributors talk about the future of our field. If you’re are attending the event, make sure to let us know. We look forward to seeing you as well as all the exciting events and exhibitions at SID Display Week on May 20th-25th.
