Bryan Allen began professional software development at age 17. His has worked in many industries, including desktop software, WiFi radios, cell phone application processors, printers, and Android development. At Marvell Semiconductor he developed embedded firmware, validated pre-silicon ASICs, created board support packages, worked on turn-key products. He has been the lead Linux kernel developer on multiple ASICs and ASSPs, and has often part of chip bring-up. Mr. Allen has written device drivers for Linux and real-time operating systems. As an entrepreneur he created a small online marketplace for photo retouching.
Mr. Allen’s areas of interest include computer architecture, computer vision, and artificial intelligence. He particularly enjoys learning new technologies and taking on exciting new challenges.
