David Luke specializes in digital logic design at the IP and chip level. David has worked on the main design team for 25 large ASIC/ASSP/SoC projects that have gone into high-volume production, and provided IP and design and verification assistance to several others. He has touched nearly every aspect of large digital IC design, including physical layout, logic design, logic synthesis, top-level design and integration, system design, chip turn-on, and system-level design and debug. His design work includes controllers for a variety of I/O protocols, such as USB, MIPI CSI-2 and DSI, IrDA, and IEEE-1284. He participated in standardization efforts for USB Printer Class, USB On-The-Go, and IrDA, and chaired the USB Mass Storage Class working group.
