Executive Assistant - Austin TX

SigmaSense provides semiconductor and software solutions which drive touch sensors for the leading display and OEM manufacturers in the world. General Position Description

We are looking for a responsible Executive Assistant to support the CEO and CFO with a variety of accounting, HR, and sales & marketing tasks. Duties include accounting projects, investor relations, internal sales support, meeting planning and other marketing activities. Must have a positive attitude and be reasonably tech savvy with a range of software tools. Strong oral and written communication skills, independent judgement and an ability to multitask are required. Must be able to plan, prioritize and organize your workload with a strong attention to detail. Must also have good common sense and the ability to handle confidential information.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience (preferably 3+ years) as an Executive Assistant or relevant role
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and accounting and related software (CRM, ERP etc.)
  • Undergrad degree preferred

Quality Systems Manager - Austin TX

SigmaSense® is now searching for a leader of our Quality Systems and Processes. The Quality Systems Manger will build and lead the quality team. The role will be based at Austin, Texas with responsibility across all locations. Create, Manage, and improve the Quality Management System, through effective planning, and coordinating with other departments, in ISO 9001:2015 in our Austin, TX site.

You Will:

  • Build, manage and improve QMS, working with other external QA and internal auditors effectively.
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team to get ISO 9001 certified.
  • Orchestrate and manage processes and procedure improvements by referencing and adopting best practices in semiconductor industry.
  • Proactively provide guidance, recommendations, and training to engineering teams on how best to address Quality though Processes and best practices.
  • Drive a proactive approach to quality into our engineering development so we meet and exceed the evolving demands of the customer in our markets
  • Responsible for all Quality related governance including management quality reviews, risk reviews, and partner quality updates

You Bring:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Quality and launching semiconductor style Systems in a Corporate environment.
  • Track record of leading an initial ISO9001 rollout.
  • Experience leading design and manufacturing validation activities such as D/PFMEA, PPAP, 5-why, etc.
  • Appreciation for the art of managing evolving project requirements in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent influence and negotiation skills to respond to difficult news and situations.
  • BS in an engineering discipline, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial.
  • Highly collaborative mindset and strong communication skills

Software Engineer - Austin TX, Boise ID

SigmaSense®, the global leader in sigma-delta touch sensing performance, is changing the world of traditional analog sensing solutions with a new advanced digital approach. SigmaSense® is pioneering a comprehensive sensing technology that delivers an order of magnitude improved performance that was previously not possible. Headquartered in Austin, TX, SigmaSense® provides semiconductor and board level products with development tools and support.

We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer to design, develop and install software solutions. Software Engineer responsibilities include gathering user requirements, defining system functionality and writing code in various languages, like Java, Python, .NET programming languages (e.g. C++ or JScript.NET.). Our ideal candidates are familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment. Ultimately, the role of the Software Engineer is to build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software that complies with coding standards and technical design. The ideal candidate will excel working with small teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and need the ability to adapt to technological changes and requirements quickly.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Write well-designed, testable code
  • Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
  • Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
  • Work closely with HW team to test and evaluate HW modules and solutions
  • Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software solutions
  • Deploy programs and evaluate customer feedback
  • Comply with project plans and industry standards
  • Ensure software is updated with latest features

Skills

  • Proven work experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer.
  • Expertise using C# & Visual Studio Environment, C++, Python, JSON.
  • Familiarity with test driven development. Understanding of automated testing and qualification methodologies, utilizing test-driven development (unit testing, integration testing).
  • Experience in object-oriented application development.
  • Technical understanding in image processing, USB-HID, .Net Forms, user interface.
  • Technical Knowledge/Experience: Git / GitLab, USB / HID, I2C / I3C, Linux, bash shell
  • An engineering degree in computer science or equivalent
  • 1-5 years of software development experience
